Color & Styling FAQ

What is the starting hair in Tressence extensions?

All four formats are made from single-donor raw virgin human hair. Each bundle comes from one donor and is kept separate, with no mixed donors within the bundle. Natural Color is the original, uncolored base; #60, #1001 and #1001A are professionally pre-lightened for you.

How light can Natural Color go?

Natural Color can be professionally lightened to a very light blonde base, then toned for a platinum finish or customized with color. For a very pale blonde goal, discuss a Level 10, pale-yellow lightened base followed by toning with your colorist. Use a strand test on the actual bundle to plan the lift and final tone.

How do #1001 and #1001A differ?

#1001 Pale Blonde looks creamier and more neutral. #1001A Ash Blonde is cooler and ashier, with a soft gray undertone. Compare the labeled references and select the exact code. See the shade guide.

Can I curl or straighten the hair?

Yes. Wear the lengths sleek or create heat-styled waves. Start with dry hair, use a heat protectant and the lowest effective tool setting, and keep direct heat away from the weft edge, beads and pre-bonded tips.

What helps the hair last?

We select for premium strength, natural movement and long-lasting wear with proper care. Gentle detangling, regular conditioning, a well-planned installation and protection from unnecessary heat and repeated chemical work help preserve the finish. Care and wear habits shape how the hair performs over time.

How much hair comes in a pack?

Machine Weft is 100g per pack. Genius Weft is 50g per pack. Nano Tip and Flat Tip each contain 100 strands at 1g per strand, for 100g total. Plan the amount with your installer around your own hair, placement and desired fullness.
